Attached is the copy of a letter the Town of Livingston Electrical Inspector sent out to residents who were in contact with the town around the incident. If you were impacted, you may not have gotten this. (We’re not sure why this wasn’t more widely distributed.)

This letter recommends that impacted residents hire an electrician to check out their service panels. JCP&L Customer Service relayed a similar message to residents calling up after the surge. This is another $100-$200 customers are incurring to check for and resolve potential damaged caused by JCP&L.
